Australian Cat

I drove up the east cost of Australia to Brisbane last year, one of my friends was living there for a while. I never really liked cats, but this one came to lay on my stomach every day as I read on the balcony, and we got on well, one day the cat scratched my arm so we fell out, until one day the cat came back and we made friends again.

    • thanks, It would be great to go to Hawaii, or any other group of tropical islands. I had a similar experience in Australia with waves and rocks, but that was above the water, and I ended up in hospital with my arm shredded and two fingers on my left hand had the tips off. I can’t imagine how it was underwater! good to be alive!

  2. I like cats. In fact, I have a wild kitty that I feed. Sometimes she comes into my apartment and walks around exploring. But as soon as I shut the door, she runs to it and looks longingly at me until I let her outside again. Sometimes she lets me pet her, but I have to be very careful so she doesn’t nick my finger. She is so used to living outside, wild and free, that her defenses are always up. Because of the food and water I put out for her, she has gone from skin and bones with a terrible limp, to fat, sassy and spry! I wish I had a photograph to share of her, but the only camera I have at present is the one on my cell phone. But she is at least part tortoiseshell in color and very beautiful.

  3. “the best camera is the one that’s with you” Chase Jarvis. My phone doesn’t have a camera, but I know that some of the cameras out there on phones are really good. Get that photo! upload it to your blog and send me a link!

  4. WOW ! Got your email. THANK YOU. I do think that you’ve got more talent than you know… Luck !?! KEEP that camera with you. There’s a story about a woman who didn’t show anyone HER work, and she was better than ANNIE LEBOWITZ.
