Chinese Lady Washing Up

I stayed with a Hungarian friend for a while in Shenzhen, China. He had lived in China for six years, and had an apartment near the OCT metro station. The days were scorching hot and going outside was a sweaty trip. While walking back to the apartment I noticed this old lady doing the washing up and staring through her windows. People have said they think this photo is kind of spooky. I wonder what she is thinking.

  4. Wow, what a cool blog! I love the pictures too. I only briefly reviewed the first page but I really enjoyed the ones of India. I was there last year during a trip to Nepal. Do you have an email subscriber button on your site? I didn’t see one. Are you still traveling?

    • thanks, I never went to Nepal, i think a trip across the Himalayas would be great though, walking up onto the mountains in China, and along the range all the way almost full circle and back into China. I got back from a journey over in Asia and Australia in September, and now back in England.

  12. William, as a fellow blogger i was delighted that you liked my ‘signs not words are the future.’ In return let me sy how much better ypur pictiorial presentation was so much better than my mere words.Let me add, the compliments you received are merited. Perhaps you might consider adding a short esssay to each and making them an electronic book. I’m sure it would be a success.
